In Memoriam

Fred Robert (‘Bob’) Tabita

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our esteemed colleague, Dr. Bob Tabita. He leaves behind a robust scientific legacy that will continue to have significant impact on the research community in his absence. His leadership in plant sciences at The Ohio State University was instrumental in establishing the Translational Plant Sciences Graduate Program and laid the foundation for the development of the Center for Applied Plant Sciences. Bob was a prolific researcher within his home department (Microbiology) and a valuable member of two CAPS scientific teams. He will be deeply missed.
